Zimbabwe: This Soil Also

During the summer of 2011, Benjamin Middleton set out on a mission he had been dreaming of for years. For over 3 weeks he followed a group of missionaries from IMPACT (Inspired Missionaries Proclaiming the Advent of Christ Today), ALIVE(Africans Living In View of Eternity), African Exodus, and ECYC (Eastern Canada Youth Conference) as they worked in rural Zimbabwe doing community service, presenting health lectures, giving Bible studies, and holding evangelistic crusades.

In the midst of Zimbabwe’s bleak winter, these teens and young adults assembled from around the world, including Zambia, Botswana, South Africa, Canada, and the United States. Through this film, you will join in the adventure as they catch the vision to bear fruit in “This Soil Also,” and then carry the vision into the wilds of rural Zimbabwe, face the brutal winds, cold rain, hunger, and exhaustion. You see the struggles against rough terrain, illness, language barriers, and racism, embarking on a journey of survival and salvation as hearts are touched and lives are transformed by the preaching and teaching of the Word of God.
